Windows Engineer

Windows Engineers at Flow Traders administer and support the existing Windows based environment and also plan, design, and deploy new systems that the business requires to maintain our high performing and fast paced trading environment.

What You Will Do / Key Responsibilities

• Administer the APAC Active Directory infrastructure including integration with AzureAD
• Administer On-Prem AD & Entra ID (Azure AD) including conditional access, identity protection, and role-based access control.
• Manage and support the existing Windows desktop and server deployments in APAC
• Administer all aspects of a hybrid Exchange Online / on-premise solution
• Support and maintain an SCCM infrastructure of deployments and updates
• Resolve technical issues within the APAC region, and supporting US and EMEA regions during APAC hours
• Troubleshoot and resolve issue related to Windows endpoints, Intune enrolment, and cloud services
• Implement and enforce security best practices for Windows systems, Azure AD, and Exchange Online
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, and configuration tasks for on-prem and O365

What You Need to Succeed

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
• Experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11, operation and maintenance of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022. Solid knowledge of Windows OS internals, group policies, and endpoint security.
• Strong experience in Active Directory/ Entra ID / Azure AD, including identity lifecycle and access management.
• Hands-on experience with Exchange Online administration and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience managing Microsoft Intune in a production environment.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects
• A strong background of automating tasks using PowerShell (or similar)
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate complex technical subjects to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• An ability to see solutions to problems that others do not see, demonstrating a history of creatively solving difficult problems
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Defender, Autopilot, and compliance solutions is a plus.
