As an IT Operations Intern, you will be a key contributor to the stability and effectiveness of our IT Service Operations organization. This role is an excellent opportunity to develop your operational skills, learn from experienced professionals, and apply your service-first mindset to ensure employees across the firm receive a reliable and seamless technology experience. Working closely with the Service Desk and IT leadership, you will help strengthen processes, improve service delivery, and gain hands-on experience in a mature IT operating model.

You will also have the chance to assist with key operational functions such as asset lifecycle management, contract schedule tracking, and day-to-day coordination. This internship will allow you to learn how to streamline workflows, enhance documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives that help our organization deliver consistent, high-quality support to the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, office relocations, company acquisition integrations, and new technology implementations.
  • Gain experience using enterprise tools like Microsoft Entra, Microsoft 365, MS Teams, Adobe, ServiceNow, and ControlUp.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining clear documentation for IT processes and procedures.
  • Help create insightful reports and dashboards on the performance of Houlihan Lokey applications and environments.
  • Assist with the lifecycle of IT assets, including global inventory tracking of all hardware and software.
  • Monitor IT systems health and performance using ControlUp, helping to identify and report on trends, and assisting in the initial triage of system alerts.
  • Contribute to the IT Knowledgebase by creating user-friendly guides and “how-to” articles for frequently asked questions and common technical procedures.
