We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Principal responsibilities

 Design and manage secure, scalable GCP/AliCloud/HSBC on-prem infrastructure.
 Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and build CI/CD pipelines.
 Collaborate with application teams to understand constraints, assumptions, and requirements related to HSBC environments and third-party products (e.g., CDC, Kafka, NiFi).
 Participate in system monitoring, basic performance tuning, and incident resolution.
 Support deployments and collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth delivery.
 Troubleshoot infrastructure-related incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate problem resolution with vendors and internal teams.

Requirements
 Bachelor27s degree or above in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
 2+ years in infrastructure or cloud engineering roles.
 Proficient in cloud services (e.g., Compute Engine, Cloud Storage).
 Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Cloud Build).
 Strong Linux skills and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
 Basic monitoring and logging experience (e.g., Cloud Monitoring, Stackdriver).
 Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities.
 Clear communicator; able to collaborate across teams.
 Adaptability to evolving cloud and DevOps practices.
