Platform I area delivers best in class highly specialized technology platform to FM> users while anticipating on future needs. It responsible for the reliability and stability of applications, connections and servers while making sure that all assets follow the IT Risk Minimum Standards.

Job Description

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining applications used by Asia users in Financial Market.

Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Following best practice secure coding guidelines, such as OWASP, the team’s coding standards.
  • Remediate bugs, defects, and functional non-conformities in custom developed application software, currently used within the agency (Legacy Applications).
  • Implement change requests for small to medium functional modifications or enhancements to Legacy Applications.
  • Remediate new and existing errors and inconsistencies with data stored in underlying data repositories linked to Legacy Applications.
  • Execute patches and proactive remediation for Legacy Applications.
  • Working directly with end users to create effective solutions.
  • Working on cloud capabilities including monitoring, software updating, and management of product line.

We expect you to be responsible and take ownership. Be open, honest, communicate clearly (in scrum ceremonies and outside) and most importantly be eager to learn and proactively improve yourself, the chapter you oversee and the ecosystem around you.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role or environment.
  • Experience with working in eFX platform with FX domain appreciation.
  • Good to have experience in trade analytics (KDB+, Mosaic).
  • Expertise in board technologies in the IT operation landscape.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies.
  • Experience or affinity with IT Risk & Security concepts.
  • Great analytical skills and conceptual / architectural understanding, ability to learn new technical concepts fast.
  • Willingness to continuously improve technical skills.
