Senior infrastructure engineering leader responsible for strategic planning, deployment, and optimization of the firm’s global telecommunications and network infrastructure with a focus on fiber, lit services, DIA, and satellite connectivity. Leads large-scale network projects, evaluates emerging technologies, partners with vendors, and drives cost optimization and resiliency across locations. Acts as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, mentors junior engineers, and champions organizational and technological change to deliver secure, scalable network solutions.

- Applies technical expertise to multiple large scope strategic projects with enterprise-wide impact (e.g., infrastructure technology, architecture design, and performance monitoring) to influence, manage and implement strategic technology platformsDevelop and execute comprehensive network strategies, focusing on fiber infrastructure, lit services, DIA, satellite, and other advanced connectivity solutions.Oversee the end-to-end deployment, management, and optimization of fiber networks, lit services, and DIA across all JPMC locations.Evaluate emerging network technologies and architectures to enhance performance, scalability, and security.Work with our vendors to drive continuous improvement in network performance, resiliency, and operational efficiencyCollaborates to drive positive, lasting organizational, operational, and technological changeAdvises on and leads the development and strategy of multiple projectsDrives thought leadership throughout the organizationPartners across other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processesMentors and coaches junior engineers and technologistsChampions the firm’s culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 10+ years of progressive experience in network planning and telecom management, including leadership roles within large, complex organizations.Deep expertise in fiber networks, lit services, DIA, and related network technologies.Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and cost optimization for network infrastructure.Extensive knowledge and experience in two or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessmentsExtensive knowledge of multiple infrastructure technologies and programming languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.)Proven ability to conceptualize, launch, and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budgetAdept at partnering closely with, and acting as a trusted advisor to, stakeholders across the firmExtensive automation experiencePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience managing and developing budgetsExperience with large-scale network transformations or migrations in financial services.Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., FCC, GDPR, NYDFS).Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices in network environments
