As a Technology Support Lead in the Commercial and Investment Bank, you will play a leadership role in ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production services. Critical thinking while overseeing day-to-day maintenance of the firm’s systems will be key and set you up for success as you navigate tasks related to identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
Job responsibilities
- Leads teams of technologists that provide end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery for the successful business operations of the firm
- Oversees the end-to-end management of production and UAT environments, ensuring high availability, resiliency, reliability, performance, and security
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for onboarding and supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM) applications and tools such as ForgeRock and Ping Identity
- Ensure all processes and solutions adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining robust compliance and security standards throughout the IAM lifecycle
- Leads the design, deployment, and optimization of AWS-based infrastructure, leveraging cloud-native solutions for scalability and resilience
- Collaborates with engineering, product, security, and business teams to align production management initiatives with organizational goals
- Establishes and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) for production systems, driving proactive incident management and root cause analysis
- Collaborates with technical experts, key stakeholders, and team members to resolve complex problems
- Champions automation and DevOps practices to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention and toil
- Monitors service level indicators and utilizes service level objectives to proactively resolve issues before they impact customers
- Tracks industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending enhancements to production management practices
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
- Experience managing applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud
- Proficient experience in observability and monitoring tools and techniques (Geneos, Dynatrace, Grafana, and Splunk), with experience in configuration, integration, and analysis of application and infrastructure metrics
- Proficient in Python scripting
- Experienced in implementing processes aligned with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework, and proficient knowledge of cloud security principles, compliance frameworks, and risk management
- Proficient in Identity and Access Management (IAM) - ForgeRock and Ping Identity ,OAuth, OIDC
- Hands-on expertise with AWS cloud deployments and AWS services (EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation), architecture, and security best practices
- Proficient in site reliability culture and principles and familiarity with how to implement site reliability within an application or platform
- Demonstrated expertise in Linux scripting, enabling effective management of routine operations and tasks within a Linux environment
- Experience with enterprise scheduling tools (Autosys or Control-M), with the ability to manage and automate workflow processes effectively
- Experience with automation tools, DevOps methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- AWS certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Security Specialty)
- Experience in financial services, or highly regulated industries
