Lead the design, build, and operation of cloud-native, security-critical platform services on AWS for Privileged Access and Infrastructure. Take end-to-end ownership of complex systems from design to production, influencing technical direction and architecture. Work across Python, Go, and TypeScript to apply the right tool for each problem and design reliable systems at scale. Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure for Klarna's privileged access workloads.
What you will do
Build and operate cloud-native, security-critical platform services on AWS.
Take ownership of complex systems end-to-end, from design through production operation.
Contribute to technical direction and architectural decisions for the team's services.
Work across multiple languages (Python, Go, TypeScript) adapting to the right tool for each problem.
Design, build, and operate reliable systems at scale.
Collaborate closely with other engineers and stakeholders.
Who you are
Strong experience building and operating cloud-native services on AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, EC2, SQS, EventBridge, CloudWatch, Route 53).
Proficiency in Python; experience with Go for performance-critical services and tooling.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation and Terraform).
Experience with frontend development (Svelte/TypeScript) is a plus.
Strong technical judgment and ability to design reliable systems at scale.
Proactive ownership mindset with the ability to take end-to-end responsibility for complex systems.
