JOB TITLE: Infrastructure Engineer  

SALARY: £59,850 – £73,150 

LOCATION: Edinburgh 
HOURS: Full Time – 35 Hours per week 
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid – at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, in our Edinburgh office 

 

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY 

We’re building a resilient, agile, and customer-focused infrastructure capability within our Platform Savings FNZ Lab.  

 

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with experience of managing external platforms and how they integrate within LBG experience. You’ll work closely with the testing and development teams in both organisations, contribute to environment management best practices, and help shape the future of our infrastructure strategy. 

 

DAY TO DAY, YOU’LL: 
• Collaborate with testing teams and external providers to resolve issues and implement new functionality 
• Contribute to produce roadmaps and drive standardisation across infrastructure services 
• Apply best practices in environment management and support self-service capabilities 
• Participate in learning and development initiatives to adopt modern engineering practices 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED: 

FNZ Platform Knowledge – Experience with FNZ or similar infrastructure stacks is highly desirable 
Collaboration & Resilience – Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain a positive mindset 
Strategic Thinking – Capable of contributing to infrastructure strategy and continuous improvement 
Cloud Awareness – Working knowledge of GCP or other cloud platforms is beneficial but not essential
