Senior DevOps Engineer at Lead IC level responsible for shaping the technical direction of platform delivery and cloud infrastructure. You will design and build a new multi-tenant architecture in Microsoft Azure and contribute to long-term platform evolution. About the Role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at the Lead IC level, you will shape the technical direction of platform delivery and cloud infrastructure within your domain. You will solve complex engineering challenges, guide others through design and architecture decisions, and raise the engineering bar through reusable patterns, automation, and hands‑on support. Your impact enables consistent, high‑quality, secure, and scalable solutions that accelerate team delivery and reduce duplication across the platform.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and build the new multi‑tenant architecture in Microsoft Azure, contributing to long‑term technical direction and platform evolution.
  • Develop, optimise, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across diverse technology stacks to ensure fast, reliable, and secure deployments.
  • Deliver cloud and infrastructure capabilities with a focus on excellence, sustainability, predictability, and operational readiness.
  • Work with market data solutions in hybrid cloud/on‑prem ecosystems, ensuring reliability, latency reduction, and secure data flows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform‑level issues, prevent recurrence, and improve overall system stability and resilience.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and health, ensuring observability and rapid response to operational events.
  • Ensure security, compliance, governance, and risk‑aware delivery across all environments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and platform operations using cloud‑native and IaC practices.
  • Apply hands‑on leadership through code reviews, architectural discussions, and reusable engineering patterns.

Core Technical Skills

  • Hands‑on delivery across infrastructure, networking, platform engineering, and automation.
  • Ability to guide team‑level design decisions using deep domain expertise.
  • Proven skill in building secure, observable, scalable engineering solutions.
  • Azure (including multi‑tenant architecture).
  • Terraform and IaC workflows.
  • Git, Maven, and modern CI/CD tooling.
  • Kubernetes, Docker, and container‑based deployments.
  • Operating systems such as Ubuntu, CentOS, Amazon Linux, RHEL, Windows.
  • Experience working with market‑data platforms or financial ecosystem solutions is highly advantageous.

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated annual gross base salary for this position is between zł265,000 - zł419,000. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Bonus Plan (”bonus plan”). Target Bonus % will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job-related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
