The Sr. Technical Specialist - Workflows Technical Support provides technical expertise to resolve complex client issues, optimize systems, and lead technical projects. The role requires deep knowledge of networking, Windows operating systems, cloud computing, and the ability to mentor junior team members. You will provide specialized technical support to key accounts, manage workflow integrations and deployments, and collaborate with vendors, developers and product managers to improve service delivery. You will also contribute to training, documentation and knowledge sharing to support evolving customer needs.

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing technical expertise, solve complicated and exception-based issues, optimizing systems, and leading technical projects. The ideal candidate must have deep knowledge of networking, windows operating system, cloud computing and the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.

Purpose:

Supplies guideline consultative and advanced technical customer service to clients in understanding, extracting and accurately using LSEG and third-party data, including training, client meetings, documentation, sophisticated fix, articulation of financial content and product capabilities, and coding assistance for the customer's workflow integration or financial research project.

- Works independently to solve complex client queries and resolve where precedent may not exist, ensuring the accurate delivery of information and resolution and training more junior staff

– Provides specialized technical support to various users and corporate IT administration teams at customer accounts and may perform more complex installations, upgrades, migrations for exception-based approach

– Fixes, research, and answers client inquiries of a technical nature around the technical specifications of the product to work properly, including but is not limited to configuration,

connectivity, installation, operating systems, version update, maintenance activities, and accessibility issues

– Works with internal and external parties, including vendors, developers and product managers to resolution

– Performs customer site break fix activities remotely (or dispatch to site when required) using global consistent methodologies and tools

– Maintains an advanced understanding of standard customer environments, including operating systems and cloud technology, and products being supported and how they relate to a client’s

workflow and integration needs

– Uses procedure mentality and domain expertise on internal or external business issues to improve products and services or processes. Is an active contributor to product release

rollouts and upgrades programs

– Leads projects or project steps within a broader project or has accountability for ongoing activities.

– Manages technical support for key strategic accounts

Responsible for technical knowledge build-out on Desktop products

Incorporates industry trends and newest technologies to adapt training plan to evolving customer needs

Collaborating with wider technical support teams to set service delivery standards and playbooks

Provide reports & draw key insights to support operational decisions and ensure service delivery

Qualifications

  • Highly driven individual with a growth mindset and is passionate about business process improvement

  • Ability to work under pressure in a matrix environment and navigate ambiguity

  • Experience in managing situations with varying level of collaborator seniority across the business

  • Superb communication, interpersonal, analytical & critical-thinking skills

  • Good understanding of digital technologies, automation tools, and emerging trends in the digital landscape.

  • Background in reporting and data analysis

  • Project management experience and proficiency in managing complex initiatives from conception to completion

  • Presentation skills—able to present and communicate effectively in front of global collaborators using multiple communication platform to support a business narrative

  • Strong business & market knowledge
