Join our Core Banking Platform as a Principal Engineer and play a key role in leading the engineering and design for our Core Banking Platform (SAP). We're continuing to build a real-time Core Banking platform that is highly reliable and scalable. As a Core Banking Platform within a Digital Bank, software engineering is at the core of what we do. What role will you play?

You will lead the engineering for our Core Banking platform program, as we move from SAP Banking Services to SAP Transactional Banking (TRBK) and HANA. We operate our Core Banking platforms 100% in Public Cloud. In this important role, you will contribute to the architectural vision and design of the Core Banking Platform, ensuring alignment with the evolving needs of our business. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will own decisioning and accountability on solution engineering on the Core Banking platform (SAP TRBK). You will lead critical decisions and support a team of engineers towards improving reliability and operational excellence on the Platform. Your hands-on approach will be instrumental in contributing to the best practice design of our SAP Platform ensuring the platform is highly performant, reliable, and built to scale. You will help cultivate a culture of learning and mastery within the engineering team, guiding and mentoring engineers on best practice design and implementation.
What you offer

- Deep knowledge of Core Banking systems and experience with SAP Banking Services or Transactional Banking (TRBK), including both functional and technical aspects
- A proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale, high-performance banking systems that are both robust and scalable
- Experience leading Engineering across large Core Banking migrations
- Experience with AWS and Cloud Services
- Strong understanding of security best practices for financial systems
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team with proven success at running complex engineering initiatives
- Ability to drive key architecture and design decisions across a Platform
- Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of the organisation.
