Lead design, development, and deployment of Macquarie's Re-Insurance Technology Platform, integrating proprietary and vendor solutions (e.g., Aladdin, eFront, Titan) to support the multi-asset fund lifecycle and digital transformation. Build scalable data engineering and software solutions using Python, SQL, dbt, and Airflow, with cloud work on AWS and GCP. Collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver robust, compliant workflows across fund inception, portfolio construction, and operations. This is a permanent, full-time role based in New York.

- Extensive experience with Financial Industry and high familiarity with re-insurance, with exposure to asset and liability matching is preferred. Familiarity with Wealth offering as well as scenario testing and Compliance built on top of a Consolidated multi-asset IBOR is a big plus.
- Motivation to engage and stay abreast while leveraging AI and advanced analytics to enhance functionality and workflow efficiencies, along with cloud Expertise (AWS and GCP): Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, Redshift, Glue, etc.) as well as GCP BigQuery
- Programming: Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation. Knowledge of UI frameworks, like React is a plus
- Data Engineering Tools: Advanced knowledge of dbt for data transformation and modeling; SQL: Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance; Workflow Orchestration: Experience with Apache Airflow for building and managing workflows.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technology teams.
