Lead back-end development for the Customer Engagement Individuals tribe, delivering robust, scalable services and data-driven customer experiences. Write high-quality back-end code, promote changes to millions of users, and work in a self-organizing squad with an agile mindset. Collaborate with architects, software engineers, UX designers, and business analysts, explore new technologies, and improve technical quality with CI/CD, observability tools, and containerized deployments.

You will:
- Write high-quality back-end code
- Promote your code to millions of users
- Be part of a self-organizing squad and have an agile mindset
- Work your way through tough problems while employing creative solutions
- Contribute to the engineering culture, Danske Bank’s inner source, and the methodologies of Danske Bank
- Collaborate closely with architects, software engineers, UX designers, and business analysts
- Try out new technologies and raise the bar for technical quality
About you:
- 4+ years of back end engineering experience, delivering robust and scalable projects
- Good knowledge of MS SQL Server & RabbitMQ
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD
- Experience with observability tools (Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Understanding container-based deployment techniques and kubernetes
- Good focus on code quality, solid principles, integration & unit tests
- A team-oriented person with an agile mindset
- Experience in Java programming will be considered an advantage
- Advanced skills in English

Monthly salary range from 4560 EUR to 6840 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).

Your job function (position) in the job contract will be IT Software Engineer (Cloud specialist), Senior. From 1 April 2026 it will be renamed to Software Engineering under our new job architecture, with no impact on the role or responsibilities.
