Danske Bank is seeking a Senior .NET Developer with a strong architectural mindset to join our dynamic and innovative Risk Definition and Events squad within the Risk and Compliance Tribe.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and operate critical business applications using .NET.
• Architect solutions using proven design patterns such as NTier, CQRS, Clean Architecture, and Onion Architecture.
• Ensure high-quality software delivery through Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
• Manage complex data models and database interactions using Entity Framework Core, PostgreSQL, SQL, and NoSQL (mastering both code-first and db-first approaches).
• Drive DevOps practices with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Work with cloud and container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, .NET Aspire, and generic AWS/Azure services.

What we are looking for: We are looking for you with extensive experience as a Senior Developer in .NET. You possess a solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and have a passion for clean code. You know how to build enterprise-grade solutions and integrate them well into existing landscapes.

You bring:

• Senior-level experience with .NET/C#.
• Deep knowledge of design patterns (NTier, CQRS, Clean Code, Onion Layer).
• Proficiency in TDD (Test-Driven Development) and DDD (Domain-Driven Design), and SOLID.
• Strong database skills: EF Core, Postgres, SQL, NoSQL.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure).
• Experience in building Web API’s and integrations between different solutions
• Experience with KaaS
• Experience with Containerization and Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Aspire.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Exceptional communication skills and fluency in English.
• Experience with React / Angular / TypeScript – is a plus

Location and eligibility

• Based in Copenhagen.
• Requires a valid Danish work permit.
