Join Danske Bank's Integration & Adoption Tribe in Vilnius as a Senior Software Engineer. The Integration & Adoption Tribe is a diverse and innovative department within Danske Bank, consisting of nearly 100 colleagues worldwide, including close to 20 members based in Vilnius. Our team is focused on driving technological modernisation across various areas of the bank.

We currently follow a hybrid work model, with at least three days a week spent in the Vilnius office.
You will:
- Work on diverse projects and explore new technologies, such as AWS and .NET 10
- Serve as a technical expert, effectively balancing a high-level strategic perspective with hands-on coding
- Build backend services using a micro-service deployment pattern
- Manage infrastructure deployment effectively
- Provide guidance and set a high standard for implementing best software development practices
- Encourage open collaboration and constructive dialogue within the team
- Operate within a self-organising Scrum team, demonstrating an agile mindset
About you:
- Extensive experience in software engineering (at least 5 years)
- Proficiency in .NET
- Experience with Java or willingness to learn
- Focus on quality, producing clean and testable code
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservice architecture
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with CI/CD and Terraform
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively
- Experience working with cloud platforms, such as AWS
- Upper-intermediate level English skills

Monthly salary range from 4560 EUR to 6840 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).

Your job function (position) in the job contract will be IT Software Engineer (Cloud Specialist), Senior. From 1 April 2026 it will be renamed to Software Engineering under our new job architecture, with no impact on the role or responsibilities.
