We are seeking a strong IT Infrastructure leader to help drive culture and technical leadership in our Bangalore office. We are looking for a generalist who can mentor our junior team members and collaborate with our senior engineers to help build and promote technical products to the world. You will need to collaborate globally to keep your finger on the pulse of a rapidly growing and evolving company. You will need to be able to innovate and collaborate across multiple technical verticals, such as Linux, Windows, Virtualization, Cloud architecture, Kubernetes, Networking, Citrix, and Information Security. You need to stay up to date with the latest AI technologies, and help drive the integration of our Firm’s AI tooling to minimize the operational toil of our teams.

As part of the role, you will be using and driving the product evolution of our Linux development environment. This will require a comprehensive understanding of the interaction between the Linux operating system, authentication systems, virtualization environments, CI/CD tooling (such as Git and Jenkins), containerization workflows, and the network layer.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the engineering output of a growing team of Infrastructure engineers across multiple technical verticals.

• Act as a technical leader and escalation point for complex infrastructure and user issues, providing expert troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

• Collaborate with global teams and cascade information locally to ensure that the local team stays in lock step with the developments of the organization. You will ensure that the local team has the latest and best in-class technologies available for any situation they encounter.

• Architect, engineer, and support Linux environments (preferably with Redhat expertise) in a multi-user, multi-server setup leveraging central authentication (Active Directory/LDAP).

• Automate system administration and operational tasks using Bash, Python, and Ansible, while driving the adoption of automation across the team.

• Proactively adopt and champion the use of AI/LLM tools for code generation, documentation, troubleshooting, and automation, and demonstrate these solutions to users across the firm.

Qualifications and Desired Skills

• Proven Player/Coach Management of strong technical teams. You need the ability to lead, mentor, and contribute technically with a technically diverse local team.

• Proven experience architecting and managing networked Linux environments at scale. (Redhat-specific knowledge preferred.)

• Expertise in automation tools and scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ansible) to streamline system administration tasks.

• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
