We are looking for a hardworking, extraordinary Sr. Software Engineer for the GPU Software team to develop platforms and software for Media & Entertainment and Broadcasting industry. The successful engineer needs to have domain expertise in the areas of media technologies used by TV studios, Broadcasters and content creators. Your passion and expertise in networking, computer hardware, storage, and cloud-native software will be pivotal. You should have a confirmed understanding of Networking and container orchestration engines. The ability to work in a dynamic, diverse and remote team is required. Strong interpersonal skills and a real passion for working as a team are essential. The candidate must demonstrate autonomy in their work and collaboration across different departments. Your role will involve working at the forefront of technical innovation at NVIDIA, in a very fast paced and dynamic environment with some of the best in the industry. What you will be doing:

• Develop automation for deploying Kubernetes clusters for streaming media usecases

• Monitor and manage Kubernetes clusters

• Configure L3 switches for multi-VLAN routing

• Working in a Continuous Deployment environment - fast development/deployment cycles.

• Collaborate with other NVIDIA R&D teams around the globe.

What we need to see:

• BE/Masters in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent experience

• 8-10 years hands-on experience in development & networking

• Deep Knowledge of Networking protocols

• Proven track record to develop robust tools and automation using programming languages such as Python and/or Go.

• Proficiency with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration platforms

• Fast and self learner with outstanding technical skills.

• Great teammate with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Experience in CNI plugins, operator framework

• Experience with network protocols

• Experience in switch configuration: Cisco/Arista/Cumulus

• Knowledge in Linux shell scripting

• Knowledge of Ansible and Python
