What you’ll do
Coordinate daily regional production coverage, ensuring all BAU support obligations are met across shifts and time zones.
Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical or operational issues, driving timely resolution in partnership with support and development teams.
Mentor and train team members on tools, processes, and best practices, fostering continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Partner with stakeholders to prioritize and allocate resources effectively, ensuring service levels and project commitments are maintained.
Provide technical support for software applications and investigate, diagnose, and resolve application issues
Automate start-of-day and end-of-day checks for key applications.
Log and track incidents across applications in the production environment.
Implement monitoring and automation initiatives using Datadog and develop custom solutions using
Python, Shell, and/or Powershell scripts.
Create tactical support tools and scripts to improve the incident investigation process and enable transparency into potential business impacts.
Prioritize and categorize incidents based on severity and impact.
Collaborate with the development team to improve applications based on user feedback.
Create and maintain documentation for responding to common errors and application incidents.
Assist with the deployment and configuration of software applications.
Provide training and assistance to users to ensure effective use of applications and systems.
Develop knowledge base resources to empower users to independently resolve common problems.
What’s required
Prior proven experience in a Team Lead or Supervisory role within a technology operations or application support environment.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Support Middle and Backoffice applications created in .Net, Java, C# etc. Should know how to debug apps with help of code, logs, alerts etc.
Ability to write/read complex SQL procedures/queries as required.
Proven experience in a similar role.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
