Join Qube Research & Technologies as a Site Reliability Engineer to evolve and scale a high-performance trading platform. You will build automation for operations, deployment, monitoring, and incident response while owning the observability stack and driving incident response. The role requires applying SRE fundamentals (SLIs/SLOs/Error Budgets), delivering resilient system designs, and collaborating closely with developers, quants, and platform teams.

Join our Site Reliability Engineer team to help evolve and scale our high-performance trading platform. You’ll build tools, automation, and resilient systems that support the speed and reliability our business depends on.

Your future role within QRT:

  • Build automation for operations, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Apply SRE fundamentals (SLIs/SLOs/Error Budgets) to improve service health.
  • Deliver and document system designs focused on resilience and performance.
  • Evaluate and implement the right tools for the job, balancing performance, complexity, and maintainability.
  • Own the observability stack (metrics, logs, tracing, alerts).
  • Lead incident response and drive continuous improvement across systems.
  • Collaborate with developers, quants, and platform teams on system evolution.

Your Present Skill Set:

  • Hands-on experience in SRE or production engineering roles.
  • Strong Python skills for infrastructure tooling and automation.
  • Deep understanding of monitoring, incident response, and system architecture.
  • A commitment to code clarity and reducing technical debt.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.
  • Experience designing and delivering scalable systems in production environments.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix.
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or container orchestration.
  • Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or infrastructure automation tools.
  • Knowledge of low-latency trading environments, market data, or exchange protocols is preferred
  • Background in Go, Bash, or other performance-focused system languages.
