You & your role
As Tech Lead Digital Platform, you will be at the heart of Rabobank’s digital transformation. You will guide multiple teams in delivering innovative features for our digital platform, ensuring quality, performance, and security. Your leadership will help shape the frameworks and tools that enable our squads to deliver exceptional digital experiences for our 8 million customers.
Tribe Digital Platform is divided in 5 areas one of which is Guide & Engage. Guide & Engage delivers generic features like search, products, help and settings for both mobile and desktop but also the content management platform and special features for our members and researchers.

You & your talent
As Tech Lead you have a high-tech savviness in the field of software development, security and performance. You are experienced in the agile way of working, understand the risk & compliance needs of a bank, and possess a broad interest and opinion on IT trends. You are a self-starter who can take ownership and has the intrinsic motivation to make a positive impact. You are experienced in hiring the right engineers and work with squads directly to make a positive impact for our customers.
Academic working and thinking level;
- At least 2 years of experience in similar roles;
- Accustomed and comfortable with a “span of control” of approximately 20-30 employees;
- Knowledge of and experience with DevOps teams and scaled Agile;
- Relevant experience in software development and management;
- Experience in guiding DevOps teams;
- You have achieved demonstrable results by guiding teams towards autonomy and a high level of performance;
- Demonstrable affinity and passion for digitization and Cloud technology;
- Mastery of the English language (business level, writing and speaking);
- You take on a pivotal role by weighing interests and risks together with the business.
- You keep your back straight in difficult discussions;
- You quickly create overview and insight for yourself, direct colleagues and stakeholders;
- You can deal well with unexpected setbacks, incidents or calamities;

- How have you made DevOps teams more autonomous and faster? Share your approach and measurable results (e.g., DORA metrics).
- Describe a delivery you led under strict security and compliance requirements. How did you ensure this, and what was the outcome?
- How have you managed around 20–30 engineers, including hiring and coaching, and how did you balance priorities during tough decisions?
