The Telco Cloud Consultant will join Red Hat Consulting in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to guide on-site delivery and implementation of Red Hat cloud technologies for telco service providers, NEPs, and SI partners. You’ll focus on containerized and virtual network functions (CNFs and VNFs), assess customers’ infrastructure, and recommend Red Hat cloud solutions. The role requires continuous learning, strong stakeholder communication, and the ability to adapt to changing customer needs. Saudi Arabia-based candidates are preferred, with Saudi nationality favored.
Job Summary:
The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Telco Cloud Consultant to join us in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will guide the on-site delivery and implementation of modern Red Hat technology for our key telco service provider customers, network equipment providers (NEPs), and key system integrator (SI) partners. You will focus on delivering quality work resulting in a positive customer experience, while building broad and deep technical expertise in Red Hat cloud technologies. As a Telco Cloud Consultant, you’ll need to have a thorough working knowledge of and direct experience with cloud infrastructures to support applications providing containerised and virtual network functions (CNFs and VNF) to the telco industry, you'll gain an understanding of our customers' infrastructure with a particular focus on Red Hat cloud technologies and make recommendations appropriate to their environment. The candidate must be located in Saudi Arabia and Saudi Nationality is preferred.
What you will do:
Serve as the subject matter expert at the customer site, addressing technical, developmental, or strategic IT needs
Constantly learn about new technologies and apply those concepts to customers’ needs
Produce quality results and provide support to more than one project in multiple industries and various types of projects Keep stakeholders updated on actual or potential issues that may affect project or company performance
Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, and software specification, as well as the design, testing, and deployment of open source solutions Provide written project documentation that can be distributed within Red Hat and the customer’s management team
Adapt to changing customer requirements
What you will bring:
Experience in a consulting or a related role
Experience with enterprise-wide deployments
Advanced knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Red Hat cloud solutions like Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat OpenStack Platform
Any experience with telco industry and customers is a big plus
Demonstrated experience communicating value, progress, and metrics of key projects to required stakeholders and diverse audiences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, project management, and planning skills Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or willingness to pursue certification within 90 days
Willingness to travel up to 100%
