What you'll build

Hyperscaler Engineering NetDevOps Engineers work closely with other engineers and operators to create products from conception to launch, with service operational responsibility in a 24x7 follow-the-sun mode.  You'll work across shared service departments, lines of businesses and global teams to deliver high quality services and ensure business goals are met.  The role will focus on breaking down complex problems into tactical actions and implement engineering innovations. 

This role is based in Bangalore, India.  The core duties will include:

• Processing of ECS Customer Connectivity service requests, including full SAP-side build of VPNs, dedicated links and load balancers across AWS, Azure, GCP and IBM cloud.
• Responding to hyperscaler network incidents, including SAP-wide Major Incidents and issues impacting customer “Go-Lives”.
• Architectural and troubleshooting support of HSE’s hyperscaler firewall services.
• Full operational support of SAP’s Public Cloud Interconnect service.
• Supporting and training our L2-level Operations team.

What you'll bring

• Overall more than 4 years of experience
• 2+ Years’ Enterprise Network Engineering and Operations at scale
• 2+ Years’ with Network Architecting
• Experience with GCP/AWS/Azure
• 2+ Years’ experience in cloud operations under follow-the-sun 24x7 model

• Knowledge of Routing, Load Balancing and Private Connectivity technologies.
• Experience with Checkpoint, PANs or other enterprise firewall solutions
• Understanding of public cloud services and global infrastructure, load balancing, networking, security and operations
• Team-first outlook including building great working relationships with peers across functions
• Knowledge of AWS, GCP and Azure

Preferred skills

• Advanced networking knowledge with Checkpoint/Cisco/PA Networks, routing and firewalls
• Experience and understanding of SAP Enterprise business practices
• Cloud Network Management
• Combination Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow or other service desk platforms.
