About the role:
You will lead a department with main responsibilities to develop and maintain the Hosting Infrastructure Deliveries consisting of Server Virtualization Platforms, Storage, Datacenter & Hardware Teams. The department consist of approximately 40+ people in 3-4 different team with 2 team managers reporting to you as the Department Manager, located in Stockholm.
As Department Manager for Hosting Platforms, you will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence and building resilient infrastructure services that support our business-critical systems. You’ll lead a highly motivated and skilled management team, fostering a culture of strong delivery, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. While maintaining high standards in daily operations, you’ll also drive strategic change with balancing stability with technical transformation to meet evolving business needs.
You will report to the Area Head and play an active role in the Hosting Management team.
As a Technology Department Manager, you will: Lead and guide and engage with your management team Drive operational excellence and own the overall department delivery roadmap and set strategy Secure stable and reliable infrastructure services Communicate and closely interact with leading representatives in various functions as well as with managers and architects within the Tech division. Ensure a healthy IT portfolio in your area from a risk, security, and compliance perspective Manage financial targets and frames for the department Be part of the Hosting Area Management Team Closely follow-up on compliancy, audit & IT security exercises and drive improvements together with your team members.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have: Extensive leadership experience in the technology domain, with several years in managerial roles driving high-performing teams A proven track record as an IT leader with experience driving change in complex, business-critical, and demanding environments Technical proficiency within infrastructure domain A strong commitment to leadership, with the ability to build trust, attract talent, and develop people effectively Ability to balance existing operational models and strive for continuous development towards tomorrow’s ways of delivering services with Cloud, AI etc. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to interact easily with all levels across the bank Fluency in English, which is required, with well-developed written communication skills.
