Lead Systems Engineer - UNIX responsible for deploying, automating, and maintaining production Unix infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, scalability and security. You will monitor and troubleshoot incidents, install and upgrade Unix systems, and support services and applications within the Unix domain. The role involves enforcing technical and security standards, following ITIL/SOP processes, and collaborating with global peers, with occasional weekend/on-call duty. Requires strong Red Hat Linux/UNIX experience (8-10 years) and familiarity with virtualization, scripting, and cloud tooling.
Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing production platform and infrastructure, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security.<\/p><\/li>
Monitor, triage & troubleshoot incidents with Unix Infrastructure<\/p><\/li>
Install, upgrade, maintain and support Unix Infrastructure<\/p><\/li>
Maintain and support services\/applications that are part of the Unix team\u2019s responsibilities<\/p><\/li>
Contribute to documentation and review standards and operational procedures<\/p><\/li>
Enforce technical and security standards for Unix Infrastructure and services<\/p><\/li>
Follow internal processes at all time (SOPs, Golden Rules, ITIL, time tracking, escalation, etc)<\/p><\/li>
Work closely with peers worldwide by taking part in periodic meetings and sharing knowledge<\/p><\/li>
Participate in maintenance, weekend shifts and on duty<\/p><\/li>
Ability to work individually or as a team from Non-DevOps to DevOps environment.<\/p><\/li>
Awareness to complete product lifecycles with various agile methodologies and experience managing quality and automation in the agile practice<\/p><\/li>
Being flexible and responsible to cater to business needs\/participate in DR\/BCP\/UAT\/adhoc\/Business critical tasks.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>Profile required
