Job Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of critical backend components for Federated Audience Composition (FAC).

Drive high-quality technical decisions with a focus on scalability, reliability, security, and performance.

Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Define and own technical roadmaps, including modernization and technical debt reduction initiatives.

Ensure production readiness through performance optimization and efficient resolution of operational and customer issues.

Collaborate closely with Product, QE, SRE, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality features.

Establish and uphold engineering best practices across coding standards, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

Evaluate emerging technologies, build prototypes, and drive innovation initiatives.

Contribute across the full SDLC—architecture, development, code reviews, documentation, deployment, and support.

Work effectively in a collaborative, distributed, and fast-paced environment.

Apply sound design principles to build maintainable, scalable, and high-quality systems.


What You Will Need to Succeed

6+ years of strong hands-on programming experience in C++ (mandatory); experience with Java is a plus.

This is a full-stack role with a strong emphasis on backend and distributed systems development.

B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.

Solid understanding of data systems and distributed architectures, including MySQL/Postgres, Kafka, and event-driven systems.

Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.

Strong programming, debugging, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Proven ability to make architectural decisions, evaluate trade-offs, and define long-term technical direction.

Experience planning and reducing technical debt while maintaining scalability and maintainability.

Hands-on experience with production systems, performance tuning, observability, and customer escalation handling.

Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, adopt new technologies, and lead engineering improvements.

Excellent communication skills with experience in stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration.

Experience mentoring engineers and guiding technical execution.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
