THE ROLE: Khronos3D driver team is part of AMD platform software engineering organization, G&E, responsible for Vulkan and OpenGL driver engineering over AMD GPU/APU products. We are looking for a talented Linux graphics driver engineer candidate to join our team to drive and enhance AMD graphics driver quality and achieve successful SW stack deliveries and Customer product deployment. THE PERSON: The ideal candidate is expected to be passionate to graphics driver engineering and strong self-motivation to drive sophisticated issues to resolution. Capable to communicate effectively and work optimally with stakeholder teams across AMD. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, develop, and maintain Vulkan and OpenGL drivers for AMD GPUs. Develop frontend/backend shader compiler in graphics driver. Debug and resolve issues related to Linux graphics drivers, ensuring compatibility with applications and games. Implement new features and extensions for Vulkan and OpenGL APIs. Develop and optimize drivers for next-generation AMD GPU hardware. Work closely with game developers and customers to ensure seamless integration of AMD graphics driver. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Strong programming skills in C/C++. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficient in data structures/algorithms. Experience in complier/shader compiler technology is a plus. Experience with Linux/Linux kernel is a plus. Experience with graphics APIs (Vulkan, OpenGL, D3D) is a plus. Experience with GPU Shader Programming is a plus.
