Job Role and Responsibility: Xilinx, Inc., a subsidiary of AMD, Inc., is hiring Sr. Manager Software Development to Lead a team and plan software development projects, creation of documentation, and deliver software products for internal as well as external customers. Interact and work with their counterparts globally to ensure effective delivery of the projects. Provide hands-on software engineering, development, and/or architectural leadership. Perform HW-SW co-design – work across teams to define projects, execute with quality and deliver on time. Deliver performance for AI applications for in a resource constrained edge system. Lead performance optimizations across various levels of software stack. Lead the team working on chip (SoC) level optimizations. Deliver a scalable software solution for bleeding edge of AI algorithms. Define and map AI models to the AMD NPU system strongly adhering to the constrains of edge programming. Responsible for optimized code generation for accelerating cutting edge AI models on NPU/AI Engine accelerator. Utilize expertise with computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, design techniques, tools, and principles to develop resolution to critical issues and broad design matters.
