The role involves on-site and international travel, knowledge sharing, mentoring, and creating practical software examples and training, while representing customer needs to engineering and product teams.

This role includes occasional local and international travel to customer sites. Over time, you’ll create and deliver training on Arm IP, tools, and processes, support the development of others through knowledge sharing and mentoring, and collaborate closely with product engineering teams. You’ll represent customer needs by raising defects, improving documentation, and creating practical software examples and knowledge articles.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience as an Applications Engineer, Embedded Software Development Engineer, Debug Engineer or SoC Bring-up Engineer.
  • A deep understanding in one or more of the following, microprocessors, computer architecture and system-level architecture, including fabrics and interconnects.
  • Strong background and experience in working with or developing software for the interaction between software and hardware (firmware, drivers, etc.)
  • Experience in hardware SoC bring-up
  • Plentiful experience crafting and debugging software in C/C++ and assembly
  • A good understanding of software compilers, modeling solutions, simulation technologies and debuggers (e.g. gdb).
  • Experience in a support engineering group or working directly with customers
  • An understanding of multi-processor systems, SoC or Compute Sub System design including power and clock domains
  • Knowledge of low-level debugging and JTAG
  • Be self-motivated, adaptable, and able to lead change

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

  • Experience working with Arm CoreSight Architecture
  • Knowledge of hardware performance debugging or application performance debugging
  • Familiarity with Arm products and Arm's software ecosystem
  • Python knowledge
  • Experience of running software on different types of systems such as FPGAs, emulation, modelling technologies

In Return:

In return, you’ll join a supportive, inclusive team where you can learn, grow, and succeed in the role. Arm offers competitive benefits, flexible hybrid working, a healthy work–life balance, and opportunities to develop both technically and professionally.
