Join Arm's Customer Quality/Reliability team as a Staff Customer Quality Engineer to ensure Arm's SoC and compute server hardware meet customer quality and reliability requirements. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to triage field and production issues, drive root cause analysis and CAPA, and develop performance metrics across the product lifecycle. The role requires strong understanding of SoC architecture, BIOS/Kernel/OS debugging, and data-driven problem solving in data center hardware environments. This position emphasizes rapid resolution, cross-functional collaboration, and customer-focused quality improvements.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a multifaceted and energetic Principal Customer Quality Engineer to join Arm's Customer Quality/Reliability team. A Customer Quality Engineer will ensure that the quality of Arm’s products consistently exceed our customers’ requirements and expectations. This position requires solid understanding of SoC architecture and compute server hardware, including design, manufacturing, and testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the highest product quality/reliability, and track/resolve field and production issues with expediency.
  • Ensure that the right tools, technology and processes are in place for timely resolution of product quality/reliability issues.
  • Drive triaging, root cause analysis and resolution of quality/reliability issues with support from engineering and production teams.
  • Generate 8D reports including effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) through product’s entire lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain product performance metrics, including defect rates and FA TAT.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, product engineering of modern data center hardware and/or electronic hardware systems.
  • Experience with manufacturing and field issue debug, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Experience with SoC architecture, compute server and/or associated technologies.
  • Debugging skills in BIOS, Kernel, and OS.
  • Excellent data analysis and interpersonal skills for driving problem resolution and communication to internal and external team members.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

  • Experience with logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, debuggers and other lab test equipment
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience in component/system stress testing
