Embedded Software Developer role at Capgemini Engineering in Vila Nova de Gaia. You will perform OS configuration and development (Linux, Android, QNX) for Qualcomm-based SoCs, develop and maintain kernel-level components, and implement/adapt device drivers for target hardware. Your Role:

  • Perform OS configuration and development (Linux, Android, QNX) for Qualcomm-based SoCs
  • Develop and maintain kernel-level components to support platform functionality
  • Implement and adapt device drivers for the target hardware platform
  • Integrate and validate Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Ethernet drivers
  • Develop hardware diagnostic applications to support system bring-up and troubleshooting

Your profile:

• Engineering degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science or related

• Linux/Android/QNX experience (kernel/user space)

• Good C/C++ programming skills

• Basic knowledge of Python or any scripting language

• Professional experience in software development

• Automotive SW experience

• Basic knowledge of embedded devices

• Experience in embedded system architecture and real time software development
