You will provide verification/validation and DVP design support for Integrated software qualification testing, support vehicle builds and high voltage testing for Propulsion Systems, and support End Of Line activities and plant operations. Responsibilities include designing verification plans, developing requirements for assigned features, high voltage bench commissioning and testing, and defining an End-of-Line norm for testing electrified propulsion at vehicle EOL. You will be part of the ePT Verification Team, from development through after-sales support.

YOUR ROLE

The engineer shall provide support for verification/validation/DVP design for Integrated SW Qualification Testing, support for vehicles builds and high voltage testing for Propulsion System Service and EOL/plant support for End of Line (EOL) activities.

  • The activities in scope are verification, Design Validation Plan design, validation (diagnosis and functional requirements).
  • Responsible for gathering and development of requirements for the assigned feature.
  • High Voltage test bench commissioning and test execution.
  • High voltage safety test portion execution.
  • Definition of an EOL norm to properly test Electrified Propulsion Systems at the vehicle EOL.
  • The engineer will work inside the ePT Verification Team executing Design Verification Plan starting from the development, to bring his experience and troubleshooting capabilities on after sales activities.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of Diagnostic Protocols (Keyword 2000 and UDS).
  • Knowledge of CAN messaging structure & protocol for the CAN-Bus layer.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems test interface tools.
  • Aftertreatment diagnostics, evaporative leak detection diagnostics, or comprehensive component monitoring (circuit checks, rationalities and functional checks including automatic learnings).
  • Familiarity with the following programming: C++, MatLab/Simulink, Pseudo code modification.
  • Capable of creating Logical as well as Physical Schematics.
  • Experience authoring Requirements and specifications.
  • Availability to work on site in Toluca plant and different shifts
