Job Overview

The FX Options Pricing and Market Data distribution team is going through significant reengineering and modernization. We are looking for an AVP C# developer and technologist to take a hands-on role and contribute to the design and delivery of the system.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and development of the electronic FX Options Trading Platform specializing in:
    • RFQ (Request for Quote) client or sales to trader workflow
    • Streaming prices
    • Volatility Surface and other market data management
    • Structured Product Pricing workbench
    • Live and End of Day market data distribution
  • Collaborate with a global team of developers, quants and traders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
  • Drive the design and development of system architecture, work with users of the system, and enhance the quality of deliverables
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development, deployment and testing processes
  • Share your knowledge and mentor other developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience of C#, WPF in an event-driven architecture
  • Proficient in multithreading, concurrency, and performance tuning
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • OpenShift/Kubernetes experience
  • Caching technologies e.g. Gemfire, Redis or others
  • Middleware technologies: Solace, Kafka, Tibco or other
  • Awareness of industry trends and leveraging new technologies as appropriate
  • Proven track record of building new systems, replacing legacy systems and renovating existing systems

Nice to have:

  • Experience in subscribing and consuming Exchange Data
  • Experience working in finance is a plus, but not required
