We are looking for a talented Linux Kernel Engineer to join our team developing drivers for Intel's state-of-the-art AI accelerators. In this role, you will collaborate closely with VLSI designers, user-space software engineers, firmware engineers, and system architects to define and implement innovative features for both current and next-generation products. This position also provides a unique opportunity to work with the Linux kernel community and contribute your work upstream, helping to shape the future of open-source technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Strong programming skills in C. 6+ years of proven experience in Linux kernel development. Hands-on experience with PCIe accelerator drivers (e.g.: GPUs, networking, storage,). Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a dynamic environment.

The Software Team drives customer value by enabling differentiated experiences through leadership AI technologies and foundational software stacks, products, and services. The group is responsible for developing the holistic strategy for client and data center software in collaboration with OSVs, ISVs, developers, partners and OEMs. The group delivers specialized NPU IP to enable the AI PC and GPU IP to support all of Intel's market segments. The group also has HW and SW engineering experts responsible for delivering IP, SOCs, runtimes, and platforms to support the CPU and GPU/accelerator roadmap, inclusive of integrated and discrete graphics.
