The Software Group of Intel is hiring an Intern for projects involving performance evaluation, development and optimization of industry leading parallel runtime libraries for Intel's Xeon and Xe compute platforms.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of Linux and the use of compilers and makefiles
  • Fluency in C/C++ programming with strong debugging skills
  • Experience with parallel programming, multi-threaded runtimes, and performance evaluation


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with CPU architecture, GPU architecture
  • Good understanding of system software (library, OS, runtime...)

The group also has HW and SW engineering experts responsible for delivering IP, SOCs, runtimes, and platforms to support the CPU and GPU/accelerator roadmap, inclusive of integrated and discrete graphics.
