Join Intel's Functional Validation team to perform post-silicon validation on Intel's next-generation SoCs, CPUs, chipsets, and boards using custom hardware and software. Job Description: 

Functional Validation team is specifically chartered to perform post silicon validation on Intel's next generation platform including CPUs chipsets and board using custom designed hardware and software.

Our product goal is to ensure Intel meets the Challenging Power Management schemes towards ensuring high quality System on Chip (SoC) that guarantees all the Power Management features are checked against the Intel Specification that is designed to meet customer usage models.

Your responsibilities include developing firmware patch, test plan, test case, test content and execute these various test solutions towards bug finding. You will work along Architects, Design Engineers and other Validation Engineers in Client Validation Engineering (CVE), communicating effectively and with clarity, describing test procedures, debug methods, results and seek solutions.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • 6+ years experience in similar role
  • Good understanding of Intel's x86 and computer architecture

Preferred qualifications

  • In-depth understanding on modern SoC Power Management application
  • Demonstrated competency in scripting and coding using Python, Perl, C, C++ and assembly language
  • Ability to read and comprehend board and circuit schematics and layout
  • Methodical thought process and root cause analysis towards debugging Silicon related anomaly
  • Knowledge of AI and its applications in solving problem is a plus
