Join the Markets Post-Trade Technology tribe as a Senior .NET Software Engineer, contributing to a large-scale modernisation of the collateral management and clearing infrastructure. You will design, develop and modernise applications using .NET, SQL Server and container technologies, while reducing tight coupling between projects and vendors. You will collaborate with architects, software engineers and business analysts across multiple countries and support production systems in a hybrid Vilnius-based workplace. The role offers a monthly gross salary from 4560 EUR to 6840 EUR plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Join the Markets Post-Trade Technology tribe, which supports all markets through post-trade activities, delivering efficient and reliable back-office IT solutions.
You will be part of a team of 7 software engineers and 3 business analysts, based across 3 countries, working on robust collateral management and scalable clearing infrastructure to enable seamless integration. We value transparency, collaboration, and mutual support, and work closely with stakeholders across Collateral Management and Clearing to shape the future of post-trade operations.
Our technology stack: .NET C#, SQL Server, RabbitMQ, Azure DevOps, Github Actions, AWS, Openshift.
The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).

You will:
- Take part in a large-scale modernisation initiative to upgrade the clearing collateral domain, including revising architectures, consolidating solutions, and leveraging newer .NET versions to build scalable and future-ready systems
- Drive innovation by helping design and implement solutions to reduce tight coupling between projects and vendor dependencies, creating a more flexible and maintainable architecture that supports seamless upgrades in the future
- Design and develop modern applications while adhering to coding and testing standards
- Collaborate closely with architects, software engineers, and business analysts
- Work together to enhance the development, deployment, and architecture of our applications
- Share responsibility for supporting and maintaining our systems in production
About you:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a C# developer or in another programming language
- Extensive experience with .NET development, including enhancing and modernising existing codebases to leverage newer frameworks (.NET 10) and adopting containerisation technologies like OpenShift to drive scalability and innovation
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including automating build, test, and deployment processes using Azure DevOps (with Azure Pipelines and YAML) and GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of general software modelling and engineering disciplines and principles
- Knowledge of object-oriented design principles
- Willingness to learn, continuously improve and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Advanced English skills
