You will re-implement mission-critical services with the latest technologies and frameworks to demonstrate SDK value, and collaborate with teams across Microsoft to shape the future of SDKs. Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer on the team, you will:
- Develop high-performing SDK leveraging cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
- Understand, analyze, and translate engineering requirements into efficient and scalable SDK functionalities.
- Support and actively engage with the SDK consumers (including open-source community), fostering collaborative relationships and soliciting feedback.
- Prove SDK value by re-implementing mission critical services to the latest technologies and frameworks.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience with telemetry and observability concepts.
- RESTful API development.
- Experience shipping large-scale, high-volume services.
- Excellent communication skills .
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Designing and developing SDKs in C# or Rust.
- Experience in working with open-source communities and/or contribution to OSS project.
