Join NVIDIA's CPU verification team to develop test plans, simulation environments, and automation for high-performance CPUs and interconnects. You will enhance legacy verification suites, build simulator tooling, and devise innovative verification schemes for complex microarchitectures to enable full system performance alignment. This role focuses on system-level verification across CPU architectures and interconnects, with opportunities to contribute to toolchains and workflows.

We are looking to hire strong verification engineers with a sharp understanding of CPU and interconnect architectures and workloads. NVIDIA makes some of the most sophisticated chips in the world and is solving problems, with its vast arsenal of CPUs, GPUs, and SW, in areas such as HPC, Automated driving, Medical imaging, and much more! We are seeking highly motivated engineers to join this multifaceted and innovative team! Do you want to be part of the team that explores and defines the next generation of CPUs?

What you will be doing:

  • Responsibilities will include the development of test plans and strategies, simulation environments, system bring-up, validation, and automation to deliver high performance CPUs and interconnects.

  • Work with and enhance legacy / compliance test suites.

  • Develop and maintain simulator infrastructure and/or verification tooling around existing simulator infrastructure.

  • Develop innovative schemes to verify complex micro architectures and implement them.

  • Definition and development of tool chain and workflows that enable the full system performance alignment.

What we want to see:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in EE/CS or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • At least 3+ years of experience.

  • Strong understanding of computer and system architecture fundamentals.

  • Hands-on experience with HDLs such as Verilog / System Verilog.

  • Knowledge of verification methodologies and tools for IP and SoC level verification.

  • Experience with System Verilog, C/C++, Python languages and relevant frameworks.

  • Background with debug on Silicon.

Ways to stand out of a crowd:

  • Detailed knowledge of the ARM and/or x-86 architecture.

  • Prior experience with CPUs especially in the areas of RIS tools and verification flows.

  • Strong programming background.

If you are a strong programmer or a verification engineer with an interest in CPU architecture or RIS tools, we'd love to hear from you, even if you don't have direct experience in some of the above.

With competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, we are widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers. We have some of the most forward-thinking and passionate people in the world working for us and, due to unprecedented growth, our elite engineering teams are rapidly growing. If you're a creative and independent engineer with a real passion for technology, we want to hear from you.
