NVIDIA's Networking Application Engineering team is seeking a FW Application Engineer with firmware PHY/Serdes experience to support next-generation supercomputers and AI fabrics. You will work closely with customers and R&D to understand needs, develop features, and lead cross-team collaboration. You will troubleshoot complex, highly-visible customer issues and provide engineering feedback to shape product requirements. A B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) and 8+ years in FW PHY/Serdes development are required, along with strong communication and customer-facing skills.

The Networking Application Engineering team is looking for a hardworking, keen FW phy engineer with link experience related to join the team and support groundbreaking technology.

As a FW Application Engineer one will have a real impact on the business, while working closely with our customers and R&D teams.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support new supercomputers and AI fabrics technologies.
  • Gain our customers’ trust and understand their needs.
  • Work closely with various R&D teams and develop features for our customers.
  • Lead the way on cooperation between different teams within the company.
  • Solve complex issues while leading highly visible customer issues.
  • Provide constructive feedback to engineering and marketing regarding products’ requirements.

What we need to see:

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years’ experience with FW Phy or Serdes development
  • High level communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work directly with customers and executives.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience with transceivers and cables.
  • FW development experience in networking company.
  • Knowledge of networking and scripting languages, along with experience in solving in-depth problems.
