As a Senior Verification and Validation Engineer, you will verify the ASIC build, architecture, and micro-architecture of NVIDIA CPUs, GPUs, and SoCs, applying advanced verification methods. You will define the verification scope, develop test plans, and coordinate tasks across the CPU and GPU verification teams; build test generators to verify CPU/GPU interactions, memory coherency, and consistency. You will develop the verification infrastructure using brand new verification methodologies and tools, and collaborate with architects, designers, pre- and post-silicon verification and validation teams to ensure seamless completion of tasks. This role spans NVIDIA's products including consumer graphics, self-driving cars, and AI, offering a broad impact on the platform for the future of computing.

We are now looking for a Senior Verification and Validation Engineer to join our innovative team at NVIDIA! This outstanding opportunity lets you make a real impact in a forward-thinking, technology-driven company. You will work on products spanning consumer graphics, self-driving cars, and artificial intelligence. At NVIDIA, we encourage a collaborative and inclusive environment. We push the limits of what is possible and shape the platform for the future of computing. Join our distinguished team and help us revolutionize technology!

What you'll be doing:

As a Senior Verification and Validation Engineer, you will be essential in testing the ASIC build, architecture, and micro-architecture of NVIDIA CPUs, GPUs, and SoCs. You will apply advanced verification methods. You will:

  • Understand the build and its implementation, define the verification and validation scope, develop test plans, and coordinate tasks within the CPU and GPU verification teams.

  • Build and develop test generators to verify and validate CPU and GPU interactions, memory coherency, and consistency.

  • Develop the verification infrastructure using brand new verification methodologies and tools.

  • Work closely with architects, designers, pre- and post-silicon verification and validation teams to guarantee seamless completion of tasks.

What we need to see:

  • A Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of meaningful work experience.

  • Proficiency in programming with C/C++ and scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or shell.

  • A strong background in computer architecture and memory models.

  • Exposure to building and verification tools (VCS, emulation, FPGA, debug tools) is highly desirable.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, distributed team environment.

  • A proven track record of mentoring junior engineers and interns is a significant advantage.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 136,000 USD - 218,500 USD for Level 3, and 168,000 USD - 264,500 USD for Level 4.
