You will work closely with cross-functional hardware and software teams to deploy the design to end-products and debug memory/storage issues across vendors. The role involves debugging, reference design support, and collaboration with sales/product teams to help customers win designs.

Assists customers with any questions, issues, debugging, or troubleshooting regarding Qualcomm chipset from feature design to mass production in those exciting IOE(Internet of Everything) product categories like Wearable, Robotics, VR/AR…
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support customer design, Debug and troubleshooting in the related DDR/Storage/filesystem issue including LPDDR4x, LPDDR5/5x, UFS/eMMC/SDcard from different vendors
- Provides timely and accurate answers to complex customer inquiries.
- Work in cross-function and multi-national team to provide consistent support to customers on reference design implementation and troubleshooting.
- Work with teams to review/scope/debug customer’s request and features on DDR/storage part.
Co-work with sales and product teams to help customers to win their designs.
Job Overview
The DDR/storage team is looking for engineers to support DRAM/storage bring-up/debug on QCOM platforms, effort will be like DDR enable/training/power/performance/DVFS/optimization, UFS/eMMC/Sdcard bring up/performance/power/general issue debug. The person in this position will work very closely with the cross-functional hardware teams and SW teams (firmware, driver & test) to successfully deploy the design to end-product. Familiarity with DDR, storage JDEC or high-speed IO standards is a plus. Familiarity with SoC bring-up, SI/PI debug is desirable.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
5 years of experience in the following areas:
- Experience with DDR/eMMC/UFS
- Experience with C/C++ coding.
- Linux, android development/debug skill.
- Understanding signal and power integrity
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.
