General Summary:

Display Lead for Qualcomm Linux Initiative, with a special focus on upstream solutions. Lead upstreaming of Linux display drivers and frameworks to mainline, and drive commercialization of upstream-based solutions with multiple customers. Act as the primary technical interface across internal teams, open‑source communities, and OEMs/ODMs. Ensure scalable, high‑quality display solutions aligned with Qualcomm platforms and customer product needs.

Skills

• Extensive experience in embedded systems and Embedded Linux development on ARM-based platforms

• Strong understanding of multimedia and display drivers, including HDMI, MIPI DSI, and panel integration

• Solid knowledge of Linux display upstream architectures, such as DRM/KMS, compositors, and display frameworks

• Proven experience upstreaming drivers and features to mainline Linux

• Hands-on experience working with and influencing the upstream open‑source community (reviews, discussions, long-term maintenance)

Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering with 12–18 years of relevant experience in embedded systems and Linux-based software development. Proven track record of delivering complex system software, with deep expertise in display and multimedia subsystems on production platforms.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 7+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 4+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
