Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software and drivers for next-generation products. The role involves driver design and development on multiprocessor ASIC platforms, working with systems, hardware, and test teams to meet performance and interface requirements. You will work on USB, Storage, I2C, SPI, Slimbus, and related peripherals, configuring ARM Bus protocols (AXI/AHB/APB) and debugging complex system-level problems using tools like Lauterbach. Strong C and assembly skills, real-time/embedded concepts, and good problem-solving and communication abilities are required; knowledge of Zephyr RTOS is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Experience level – 3 to 6 years
- Drivers design and development on multiprocessor and multithreaded ASIC platforms. Good understanding of microprocessor, multiprocessor architecture. ARM, DSP, etc
- Good understanding of basic real-time/embedded programming concepts & real time operating systems concepts. Zephyr is a plus
- Drivers development/support on USB, Storage, I2C,SPI,Slimbus, etc
- Driver development/support includes configuration of ARM Bus architecture protocols AXI/AHB/APB and Advanced AMBA.
- Good understanding and proficiency in C and assembly
- Experience in using debugging tools like Lauterbach and Trace tools.
- Ability to analyze, triage and debug complex system level problems and issues.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Good communication skills
