Camera system engineer focus on developing cutting edge imaging solutions for Qualcomm chipsets. You will directly contribute to Qualcomm camera solution that impacts millions of Mobile/IOT/Automotive/Compute devices.

Qualifications
1. BS/MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
2. Mandatory experience in Color science & theory, video HDR (wide gamut) color formats, and ISP hardware & pipeline design.
3. Compute vision, machine learning, sensor & color calibration, Android experience are plus.
4. Familiar with camera system and image processing algorithms especially in Color/AWB and related image quality metrics.
5. Experience with Camera ISP HW algo development.
6. Programing skills in C/C++, Python, Matlab for R&D.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
1. Propose, develop, validate innovative Color solutions for next generation ISP, and produce organized technical documentation.
2. Optimize, debug solution within complex camera system to meet challenging requirements and specifications.
3. Track record of driving ideas from design through commercialization
4. Test and verify features as a team player to coordinate with cross functional teams.
5. Support solution commercialization and ensure achieving image quality targets (business trip or work in different time zone would be required).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
