We are seeking a software engineer with expertise in Neural Signal Processor platform development, including SoC integration, inter-processor communication, memory management, debugging frameworks, and the design and optimization of NSP-specific tools.

You will work on ARM-based heterogeneous SoCs, enabling coordination between Linux and RTOS in multi-core environments, and support IPC, debugging, profiling, and crash analysis tools.

Job Description:

  • NSP Core Platform
    • IPC: Develop and maintain inter-processor communication.
    • NSP Core Drivers: reset, clock, power, and interrupts ...etc.
    • Debug Frameworks: lopping, diag, crash dump, and process dump software debugging mechanisms.
    • Memory Management
  • NSP Tools
    • Performance Profiling Tool
    • Runtime Debug Tool
    • Crash Analysis Tool

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in C and embedded platform development.
  • Familiar with ARM architecture and SoC integration.
  • Knowledge of IPC concepts (RPC/RPMsg)
  • Understanding RTOS thread/memory management.
  • Experience with debug/logging frameworks, JTAG/ETM usage.
  • Familiar with device tree and BSP basics.
  • Strong debugging skills across hardware/software boundaries.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EE/CS or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years in embedded platform or kernel/framework development.
  • Familiar RTOS thread/memory management.
  • Hands-on experience with RPC and cross-core coordination.
  • Familiar with ftrace, crash, kgdb, and other debugging tools.
  • Experience analyzing crash dump/PD dump/SSR dump.
  • Knowledge of PMU profiling and runtime debug tools.
  • Ability to read hardware specifications and translate into platform code.
  • Experience working in globally distributed teams.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
    OR
    Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
    OR
    PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

    • 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
