Qualcomm Simulator team develop a tool support different ISP pipeline IQ progress, the team develop, debug and maintain the tool.
The selected candidate, along with his/her colleagues and other team members, will have responsibilities in one or more of the following areas:
(1) Assisting customers with pipeline customization, workflow setup for simulator tool
(2) Debugging to accelerate issue solving for simulator tool
(3) Supporting tool use make image quality evaluation smoothly
(4) 10~20% domestic or oversea travel is required for onsite support.
Minimum Qualifications
Overall, the candidate needs to be experienced in the areas of embedded firmware/software development. More specifically, the selected candidate should:
(1) Familiarity with both objective and subjective video image quality assessment methodologies
(2) Good software development and debugging skills in C and C++, embedded programming experience
(3) Understanding of Android stack/Platform
Preferred Qualifications
Experience required in following areas but not limited to
(1) Experience with Snapdragon software flow and ISP is a plus
(2) Good analytical, problem solving and written communication skills
(3) Background in computer vision, machine learning, sensor and color calibration, and Android development is a strong plus.
(4) Solid understanding of camera systems and image quality evaluation metrics is plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
