Join Societe Generale as a C# Developer in the Fixed income Forex & Commodities (FIC) division. You will participate in the full software development life cycle, designing, building, testing and deploying high-performance backend and front-office trading applications using C#, .NET, WPF and related tech. You will work with a distributed team in France and Poland, in a fast-paced, English-speaking environment, with DevOps practices and focus on code quality and testing. Some milestones this year include migrations to .NET 8 and REST API/web UI modernization.
Our Fixed income Forex & Commodities (FIC) division is part of the Global Business Service Unit in Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale. We support a wide range of activities, from booking and pricing to contribution and full front-to-back processes for Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities products.<\/p>
The Trading Tool team is responsible for developing and maintaining front-office trading applications that are used daily by traders for market making.<\/p>
As a C# Developer you will play a vital role in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) - designing, building, testing, and deploying high-performance applications. You will work closely with a distributed team (based in France and Poland) in a fast-paced, collaborative environment were English is the main working language.<\/p>
Your future scope of responsibility will cover<\/strong>:<\/strong><\/strong><\/p> Building, delivering, and running applications, using craftsmanship and best coding practices<\/p><\/li> Developing and supporting features in a functional application chain<\/p><\/li> Breaking down technical and functional requirements into detailed user stories and collaborating closely with the product owner and business analysts<\/p><\/li> Delivering and supporting the application via continuous delivery (DevOps)<\/p><\/li> Writing unit tests, reviewing the code to be delivered and contributing to non-regression testing<\/p><\/li> Maintaining and improving production support for existing features<\/p><\/li> Recommending and implementing process and performance improvements<\/p><\/li> Providing clear, consistent updates to clients and management<\/p><\/li> Working with the following tech stack: C#, .NET, .NET Framework, ElasticSearch, WPF, MS SQL \/ PostgreSQL, REST WebAPI, Github, Jenkins, TeamCity, RabbitMQ, Kafka.
