As an IT Engineer within CISO Cyber Defence, you will support enhancing the maturity of the Cyber Resilience Index, which reflects ABN AMRO's resilience against cyber threats and attacks! The Cyber Resilience Index is based on data collected by the Cyber Value Chain and the Security Metric Framework, therefore you are required to handle (large) data sets and turn this into knowledge by defining metrics and weighted impact towards the Cyber Resilience Index.
The outcome the Cyber Resilience Index need to be predictable and explainable. A proper SDLC model must be adhered to. Including a robust and reliable release mechanism.

Your profile
Key Responsibilities – make an impact in cyber resilience!
As an IT Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing ABN AMRO’s cyber resilience. Your key responsibilities include:
- Implement and maintain code related to the Cyber Resilience Index according the SDLC model.
- Unlocking necessary data.
- Creating data pipelines for analysis, peer program with fellow (senior) engineers and ensure alignment with internal and external standards.
Must-Have Expertise – what we’re looking for
- Hands-on experience working with the Azure cloud.
- Thorough understanding of event driven design patterns.
- Strong scripting capabilities in Python and creation of reusable code (libraries).
- No stranger to testing and test techniques (unit and functional tests).
- Understanding of designing, development and deploying of API’s.
- Comfortable with building and running containers.
- Being able to build and use Azure DevOps CICD pipelines.
- Experience with query languages KQL and SQL.
- On-boarding of large streaming data sources and transformation of data using operators like mv-expand.
- Good communications skills, ability to reach an agreement on requirements and solutions in communications with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation.
Nice-to-Haves – additional skills that make you stand out
- Background in or affinity with Cyber Security knowledge.
- Experience working in a DevOps team and in scrum.
