Lead and grow the Google Cloud Platform Identity Security engineering team, setting strategic and technical direction for securing cloud identities. Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java or Go.
- 3 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management).
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
- Experience in Collaboration, Testing, Team Building, Stakeholder Management, Project Execution, Project Planning, Team Management, and Product Roadmaps.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.

Responsibilities
- Understand strategic and technical aspects of securing cloud identities, with a keen eye on emerging threats and our industry’s response to them.
- Set strategic and technical direction for the team’s projects.
- Influence and shape the team's culture and process.
- Communicate/negotiate to build consensus and influence leadership and partners.
- Collaborate across multiple google cloud platform and technical infrastructure teams to drive alignment, and when needed drive complex cross team initiatives to a landing.
