Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • 3 years of experience in cyber threat management, cyber risk management, security operations, intelligence collection, analysis, and production.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience, understanding of, and interest in cybersecurity and privacy and CISSP, CISM, CISA, or related certifications.
  • Understanding of network protocols and operating systems.

You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

This role will help the Google Public Sector team serve a key municipal client with program management services for their Cyber Threat Intelligence team.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members and client stakeholders to understand or identify defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
  • Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans for supported program(s).
  • Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals. Build, maintain, and enhance business, operational, and management dashboards.
  • Understand how organizations collect and use cyber intelligence about threat actor groups, methodologies, and motivations to build threat-informed security improvements.
  • Prepare and deliver briefings, assessments, lessons learned, metrics analysis, after action reports, and other program documentation, both verbally and in writing, to client executives, security team, and other key stakeholders.
